I have a different opinion when it comes to American artists performing out of their zone and in Africa to be specific. I am known to be a guy who enjoys standing somewhere with no double standards. I am talking about Visa, Criminal Records, international travels etc. If artists such as MwanaFA, A.Y, Professor Jay etc had known and publicized criminal convictions, there is no way the US Immigration Authorities would have granted them Visas to the US. In the opposite, T.I will be turning it up in Tanzania on 18th October 2014…no problemaaa…you see? Now you know where I stand.
Regardless, I am one of T.I fans. I enjoy his lyrics and his entire persona as an artist who faces every kind of life challenges. The news I want to present is that T.I is heading to Tanzania,East Africa for the finale of the annual concert series titled Fiesta. The peak concert is scheduled to happen in Dar-es-salaam at the Leaders Club on Saturday, 18th October 2014.
T.I is heading to Tanzania to add the list of American artists that have performed in Tanzania before including Jay Z, Fat Joe,Ludacris, 50 Cent [and G-Unit], and others. He is heading to Tanzania when his new album, Paperwork, is coming out. The album has hard stuff from T.I with hit songs such as No Mediocre and About Money. Some of the artists collaboration includes artists such as Usher,Pharrel, Chris Brown,Rick Ross, Jeezy Boosie just to name a few.
Now if someone if planning to attend this year’s Fiesta, here is a taste of what T.I can do on stage. See the performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
