Nyandarua Governor Daniel Waithaka has received support from unlikely quarters after women leaders in the County came to his defense over an alleged extra-marital affair in which he is accused of having s3x with a leading County female cleric, Bishop Rahab Muthoni, on Monday night.

The Governor’s alleged illicit affair was blown after boda boda operators stormed the Bishop’s house on Monday after they got wind that the Governor was having s3x with her at that very moment in her house.

However, in a show of solidarity with the good Governor, more than 300 women leaders defended Waithaka, saying he did not have s3x with the Woman of God and neither are they in love.

Led by Nyandarua County’s Maendeleo ya Wanawake chair, the women leaders accused Waithaka’s political enemies of being behind a scheme to kill him politically but vowed to stand with him through thick and thin.

They echoed Bishop Rahab’s sentiments saying she was only hosting other guests that night and Waithaka was not one of them.

“It’s only a very senior County official who came to visit our Bishop and as an opinion leader in the County, anybody is bound to visit her,” said Elizabeth.

Both Waithaka and Rahab have denied that they had s3x on Monday and said there is no illicit love affair between them.
