President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in New Delhi, India, on Tuesday to a warm welcome and reception by Indians.
Apart from the official reception by his host as the Head of State and President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru was also treated to a special traditional welcome by two hot Indian ladies who made him ‘feel at home’.
One of the ladies gave the President a special red mark on his forehead known as ‘bindu’. The mark is typical of Indians and is regarded as a point of energy that strengthens concentration in a person.
According to the Indian tradition and culture, the red dot also represents the third eye and that is why it is placed at the “seat of wisdom” – the place between the two human eyes.
The other lady threw a special Indian yellow saffron scarf around Uhuru’s neck leaving him feeling more at home.
Uhuru loved the treatment from the Indian ladies because it is very rare to get such treatment from Kenyan women.

Nyandarua Governor Daniel Waithaka has received support from unlikely quarters after women leaders in the County came to his defense over an alleged extra-marital affair in which he is accused of having s3x with a leading County female cleric, Bishop Rahab Muthoni, on Monday night.
The Governor’s alleged illicit affair was blown after boda boda operators stormed the Bishop’s house on Monday after they got wind that the Governor was having s3x with her at that very moment in her house.
However, in a show of solidarity with the good Governor, more than 300 women leaders defended Waithaka, saying he did not have s3x with the Woman of God and neither are they in love.
Led by Nyandarua County’s Maendeleo ya Wanawake chair, the women leaders accused Waithaka’s political enemies of being behind a scheme to kill him politically but vowed to stand with him through thick and thin.
They echoed Bishop Rahab’s sentiments saying she was only hosting other guests that night and Waithaka was not one of them.
“It’s only a very senior County official who came to visit our Bishop and as an opinion leader in the County, anybody is bound to visit her,” said Elizabeth.

Both Waithaka and Rahab have denied that they had s3x on Monday and said there is no illicit love affair between them.

Homa Bay Member of Parliament, Peter Kaluma, has denied ever asking any favour from his “sister’ Gladys Wanga, who is the Women Rep for Homa Bay County, over the upcoming ODM elections set for October 31st, in which they are both seeking to be ODM chair in the County.
This follows rumours doing rounds on social media that Kaluma had solicited a whopping sh20 million from Wanga in order to step down for her but the latter seemed reluctant to waste her money.

Kaluma: I have decided to step down for you for the peaceful co-existence of our county. But for me to do that, you will have to reimburse me the expenses I have so far spent in campaigns.
Wanga: How much have you spent?
Kaluma: Not much but it is roughly KSh 20 million.
Wanga: Thanks for the offer but we should leave the people to decide at the ballot and promise to support whoever wins for the sake of peace.
However, Kaluma has rubbished these allegations terming them as propaganda by Wanga to tarnish his name.
“That I’m discussing with Gladys Wanga the possibility of stepping down for her! Is this how low and cheap the propaganda of Wanga can go? Other than that she would exploit the party position to mess with party primaries and nominations as she did before, what’s so sweet in being a party chair that my sister has to abuse fellow leaders?” Kaluma said.

S3x workers in Kenya have appealed to President Uhuru Kenyatta to offer them protection from unruly clients and human ‘poachers’ who have resorted to butchering them for ulterior motives.
This follows the discovery of two more bodies of pr()st!tut3s in Nakuru who were murdered and skinned for unclear reasons.
In their emotional letter to Uhuru, S3x Workers’ Association decried the wanton killing of pr()st!tut3s and asked the President to protect them like other Kenyans.
It is estimated that at least 40 s3x workers are murdered every month across the country.
Here is the touching letter pr()st!tut3s have written to Uhuru;- 
Dear Mr. President
Please note; I am not hiding my face but the mask I wear is a symbol of how the society has chosen to view me, hidden behind the veil, not to be seen or recognized, to remain somewhere forgotten.
We as the s3x workers community are saddened by the brutal killings of our members.
It is estimated that at least 40 s3x workers are murdered every month across the country and recently. In a span of seven days, six s3x workers have been murdered; four in Nakuru, one in Kisii and one in Nanyuki.
Mr. President, these are mothers, sisters and daughters who are responsible for their families.
Indeed, their children have been left without anyone to care for them and it is possible that their futures may never be the same again.
This letter is a loud cry for help to your esteemed office. We have looked everywhere for help that seems distant while the death toll continues to rise. Our eyes have settled on you as our help to end these senseless killings.
In summary, our beloved president, we request the following;
· Right to be free from violence
· Right to be protected by the law
· Those behind these killings be arrested and face the full force of the law
· Sex workers be respected as human beings and citizens of this country
Above everything, Mr. President, allow me to remind you that I am a Kenyan citizen with a Kenyan ID, a registered voter who has voted leaders into public offices.
I was convinced that with leaders that I voted into office I shall no longer be subjected to this violence, I am utterly disappointed.
Protect us, fight for us, help us; we need you now more than ever to save lives before it is too late.

Meru Governor Peter Munya has finally made the big announcement regarding the 2017 General Election after friction with his Senator over the past few weeks.
Speaking at a thanksgiving party for Joel Imitira, the Meru County Investment and Development Corporation Chairman, Munya threw weight behind President Uhuru Kenyatta saying he will support his re-election in 2017.
He said he will rally Merus to ensure Uhuru is re-elected as President in 2017 despite the many corruption scandals in the Jubilee Government.
However, he vowed never to dissolve his APK to join Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP), saying the Meru community cannot afford to lose their political identity no matter what.
“When we formed APK, our dream was to use it to place Meru on Kenya’s political and economic map. That dream has not died we want to retain our identity,” said Munya.
This comes even as both President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, have maintained that all Jubilee Alliance affiliate parties, including APK, must disband and join JAP before 2017 or else they will be left out.

Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua’s true identity and the truth about his so called Maendeleo Chap Chap has been exposed after it emerged that he owes contractors a whopping sh2 billion for services they rendered and which have seen him ranked as the best performing Governor in the country.
Speaking on Saturday at Machakos Showground, Members of the Machakos County Contractors and Suppliers Association led by their Chairman, Barclay Mutinda, accused Governor Mutua of conning them in the name of Maendeleo Chap Chap despite doing their job.
Mutinda said Mutua has been using them to fool people with his Maendeleo Chap Chap and they gave him 7 days to pay the contractors their sh2 billion or else things will never be the same again.
“The delay in payment has led to the financial ruin of some our members, resulting in loss of property through auctioning, listing in the Credit Reference Bureau, illness and in some cases even stress and death,” said  Mutinda.
He said that if Alfred Mutua fails to pay up within seven days, members will convene to decide the next course of action.

Among the unpaid contracts include those who worked on roads, Machakos Level 5 Hospital, market sheds and Machakos People’s Park, and supply of water tanks

Even with the raging debate regarding who exactly fixed Deputy President William Ruto at the International Criminal Court (ICC) which has pitched the ruling Jubilee against the Opposition CORD, pieces are beginning to fall into place about who exactly was responsible for Ruto’s case at The Hague.

According to a video that is now available online, Ruto could have fixed himself at the ICC going by his utterances and speeches in 2008.

In one clip, Ruto is heard opposing the formation of a local tribunal to try the suspects of the 2007 post election violence and thanking God for guiding MPs to reject the proposal by Judge Phillip Waki, who investigated the violence, and former UN Secretary General, Koffi Annan, who brokered a peace deal between former President Mwai Kibaki and Raila Odinga to end the bloodshed.

Ruto insisted on the ICC option saying those in the Waki envelope should not waste Kenya’s time forming a local tribunal but should go to The Hague.

This comes just days after Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, confessed that it was him, together with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, NARC Kenya leader, Martha Karua, and Kisumu Senator, Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o, who fixed Ruto at The Hague by procuring fake witnesses to testify against him.

However, Raila has since dismissed Kuria’s assertions that he fixed Ruto at The Hague saying it was President Uhuru Kenyatta who fixed Ruto at the ICC with the help of Moses Kuria.

And from the video, it appears both Raila and Kuria could be wrong because it is clear that Ruto took himself to the ICC.

To perform financial and analytical tasks within the OPEX function in the Finance Department. Perform a key role in the assimilation, analysis and reporting of Financial Information, particularly relating to cost. Actively participate in the monthly & quarterly reporting cycles and planning processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Analysis of all expenses on daily basis (direct costs, A&P, S&M, G&A and below EBITDA)
• Daily analysis of all accruals and variance analyis documentation.
• Be on top of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow variance analysis
• Working closely with the Finance team on daily matters to monitor P&L and BS accounts
• Ensuring that all expenses are within the approved budget
• Working closely with the Reporting team during month end closing to ensure that all the expenses and accruals   are in line with budget.
• Assist the financial controller in coordination and preparation of all internal accounts reports including the hyperion financial management report, quarter end pack and the financial statements.
• Check the correct use of the chart of accounts to ensure correct allocation of expenditure
• Ensuring that expenses are fully supported and suggest areas of improvement.
• Issuing reports requested by area management or general management.
• Execution of area related SOX controls in time.
Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Bcom/ Finance.
• 1-3 years experince in the field of accounting or finance.
